We believe that Bartley Green School typifies the definition of comprehensive; we cater for the breadth of the ability range from year 7 to year 11. We strive to ensure that a Bartley Green pupil has a rounded experience at school which contributes towards the adults they become.

The last 2 decades have shown that the school has a proven track record of academic success. Our pupils leave at the end of year 11 prepared for the next stage of their lives, whether it be to undertake apprenticeships, level 3 qualifications or A levels.
Visitors to the school comment on the climate for learning, the ethos and the culture among the pupils and their positive relationships with each other and our staff. A lot goes on in and out of school; on any given day there may well be educational visits, workshops, enrichment activities, study skill lessons, mentoring sessions and adults from the community working with our pupils.
