School Aims
Our School aims have been established by the governors, through consultation. They reflect the spirit of partnership with our community, through which we are best able to meet the needs of our young people. They are:
To ensure that he process of education is a partnership between the learner, the school and the parents, together with the governors, employers and the community.
To keep the child at the centre of this process
To strive to equalise the opportunities for each child to develop their talents to the fullest extent.
To make the curriculum equally accessible to all pupils, raising their own expectations and society's expectations of them.
To provide each pupil with the experience of challenging learning styles that value not only individual thinking, but also the collaborative skills of investigating, discussing and communicating.
To engender in each pupil, a thirst for knowledge that will be enjoyed throughout her or his life.
